Business List (Suppliers)
Overview
The Business Page in viggoVet is designed for accountants and inventory managers to track and manage clinic suppliers. These businesses are not clients but rather vendors from whom purchases are made (e.g., pharmaceutical suppliers, equipment vendors, and food distributors). Every purchase transaction is linked to a business, ensuring seamless financial tracking.
To access the Business Page, navigate to

1. Business List β Supplier Management
The Business List displays all registered suppliers and includes:
- Business Name β The official name of the vendor.
- Email & Phone β Contact details for quick communication.
- Address β The physical location of the supplier.
- Created Date β The date the supplier was added.
- Actions β Options to edit or delete the business entry.
Search & Sorting Features
- Use the search bar to quickly find a supplier by name.
- Sort by creation date, name, or contact details for better organization.
Actions for Each Business
- Edit Business (βοΈ Icon) β Modify supplier details if contact information changes.
- Delete Business (ποΈ Icon) β Remove a supplier from the system if no longer in use.
2. Adding a New Business
To register a new supplier:
- Click the βAdd Businessβ button (top right).
- Fill in the Business Details:
- Name (Required)
- Email (Optional but recommended for invoicing & contact)
- Phone Number (Country-based formatting available)
- Address (City, ZIP Code, Country, and State selection for accuracy)
- Click Submit to save the business.
Pro Tip: Ensure suppliers have an email and phone number to streamline communication regarding orders, invoices, and payments.
3. Connecting Purchases to a Business
Each supplier is linked to purchases made by the clinic, ensuring accurate accounting and tracking. When recording a new purchase, the system allows users to:
- Select the supplier from the Business List.
- Track invoices & payments associated with the supplier.
- Ensure financial records are clean and organized for tax and expense reporting.

- Each purchase order, invoice, and payment is tied to a business, making it easy to track expenses per supplier.
- Financial reconciliation becomes seamless, as all transactions are linked to a vendor.

4. Multi-Clinic Business Management
If your organization operates multiple clinics, supplier records can be shared across locations. However, each purchase is recorded per clinic, ensuring accurate financial reporting per location.
