Generate Client Document

Overview

The Document Generation for a Client feature in viggoVet allows clinics to create and manage client-related documents efficiently. By using templates with auto-filled variables, users can streamline documentation while ensuring accuracy.

To access document templates for clients, navigate to:

Settings > Document Templates


Steps to Generate a Document for a Client

  1. Access Document Templates
    • Go to Settings and navigate to the Document Templates section.
  2. Add a New Document
    • Click Add Document Templates and define the document type and name.
  3. Format as File or HTML
    • To add a File document, upload the necessary file.
    • To create an HTML document, use double Guillemet Angle brackets for placeholders (e.g., «client name»).
  4. Insert Variables
    • Add predefined variables to auto-fill data dynamically.
  5. Save the Template
    • Click Save to finalize the template.
  6. Generate the Document
    • When generating a document from the Client Profile, variables will be automatically populated with relevant patient or owner information.

  • Use predefined variables to minimize manual data entry.
  • Maintain consistency in document formatting for clarity.
  • Regularly update templates to reflect new clinic policies.
  • Restrict access to document creation and modification for data security.
  • Test templates before applying them clinic-wide to ensure accurate auto-filling.
